An amazing haunted house, 45 bucks we waited in line for probably 40 minutes in the standard line. It was freaking awesome. I think the anxiety got me a couple times going in there but it really is a great experience six people at a time and each of the 17 rooms was very different creative and sometimes really scary.
I highly recommend and would go back to this on the house. Considering I drove about 2 hours to get there definitely worth it.
So awesome!! I got a hair cut! You do get shocked and a little bit of water on you. I had a blasted even without doing the field trip. Other guy in the group got a hair cut too!!!
I recently visited the 17th Door Haunted Experience in Buena Park with a group of my friends, and we had a fantastic time. While some parts of the haunted house, where we were getting shocked, were not great, they explicitly inform you about what you're getting into. Overall, I thought all of the staff and scare actors were phenomenal. I can't wait to go again next year and try out the field trip. I'm also looking forward to the 17th Door escape room coming in 2024-2025. I highly recommend it for those who want a good and unique scare.
Awesome time. Super unique as haunted houses go - prob the gnarliest one I've been to.
Be prepared for a lot of touching like what the other reviewers have said and wear clothes you can get wet. It's not too physical, but wear clothes you can move in. The 10$ vip skip the line thing doesn't truly let you "skip the line," but the line you get put in prob saved me about an hour.
Definitely do it if you're not squeamish or claustrophobic!
I was SUPER nervous going here as I have a VP shunt in my brain that I didn’t want any damage to. But I thought the young people who ran the haunted house were super good about being both tough and scary/creepy and safe! I was super impressed and has a great time!!!
This is my third year in a row and I absolutely love it! Yes I do get scared, but I also have a great experience because the actors are soooooo good at sticking to their role and even being the last group of the night, they still bring the energy. Incredible production, talented actors and just an overall fun experience. I look forward to it every year and love bringing new friends to try it out. All of my friends have an amazing time and we all laugh and chat about it afterwards.
This event was way funner than I expected! I don’t understand why some people complain about the shocking, bugs, and hair cut. They literally have signs everywhere with disclaimers! NOT for the faint of heart or claustrophobic. The field trip was so much fun and our driver Leroy was hilarious overall 10/10.
Everything from the reviews helped me navigate my expectations from this place. Cockroaches, electricity, shaving head, drowning, etc.. Know what you sign up for, don’t sit in the barber chair, and majority of the time when the group I was in said mercy the staff respected it. There was a few rooms where the staff members tricked some of the group members to follow through instead of skipping, for example in the electric chair. Two girls wanted to sit them out, the man told them that’s fine but they still need to sit due to safety. One sat down and the other refused and left the room on her own. Unfortunately the one who sat down as she followed the man’s directions got electrocuted and couldn’t get out of it until it was over. Of course the staff is going to be rude, it’s kinda the whole memo of the whole thing. Some of the rooms felt like a transition. Definitely didn’t feel like 17 terror doors, only about 5-7 of them felt like they were what you signed up for them to be. The rest seemed a bit too simple or like a waiting lobby. This is an event I wouldn’t go to annually, but I enjoyed trying it once; just wouldn’t do it again. A bit pricey for what you get.
